Selling and Redeeming Gift Cards
The Purchase Page
Customers open the business's page, choose a preset or custom amount, enter the recipient's name and email, their own name and email, an optional message, and pay by card. The card preview updates live. If no recipient email is given, the card is sent to the buyer.
Delivery
The moment payment clears, the recipient gets a branded email with the amount, the message, the code and a balance-check link. The buyer gets a receipt. The business gets a New gift card sale email, and you get an in-panel notification. Your commission is released 7 days later.
Redeeming
- Open Redeem in the dashboard and enter the code.
- Enter the amount used and click Redeem. Partial redemptions carry the balance over until the card is empty.
Cards List
The Cards section shows every card sold with buyer, recipient, amount, balance and status, plus a Void button for cards that were refunded or issued by mistake.
Balance Check
Anyone with a code can check the remaining balance at /gc/their-business/balance.
