Activating Digital Gift Cards for a Client

From the Panel

  1. Open the Add Client form and toggle Digital Gift Cards on under the Marketing category.
  2. Enter the client's details or pick an existing client.
  3. Submit the form. There is no billing cycle and nothing is charged. The service is created instantly and the client receives a branded activation email with a link to set up their page.

From Your Storefront

Clients can activate it themselves: the Digital Gift Cards card on your storefront shows Free with an Activate button. Logged-in clients are taken straight to their new dashboard; new visitors are asked to create an account first.

API

Resellers using the REST API can activate via POST /wp-json/resellportal/v1/orders with product_key: gift_cards. No billing cycle is needed. See the API docs for the response format.

Enabling the Product

If you customized your product list before Digital Gift Cards was released, enable it once in Whitelabel Settings, Products, so it appears on your storefront and in Add Client.
