Stages, Previews and Change Requests
The four stages
| Stage | What it means | Who acts |
|---|---|---|
| Brief needed | Ordered, waiting for the project brief. | Client or you |
| Being designed | Our team is building the site. Typically 7–14 days. | Design team |
| Ready for review | A preview link is available. The client reviews and sends changes. | Client |
| Live | The site is published. Ads, blog posts and change requests continue monthly. | Everyone |
Every stage change emails the client (branded as your portal, with the preview or live link) and sends you a short notice. The current stage is shown on the client's Website Manager, on your service card under Active Services, and under My Account on the storefront.
Change requests
Action (client): In the Website Manager, open the site and use Change Requests & Updates — a title and details, then Send Request. Requests come from the client; if they tell you about a change, point them to the Website Manager so the design team has it in writing.
Each request is a thread. Our team replies inside it and marks it Open, In progress or Done; the client is emailed on every reply. Unlimited reasonable changes are included — content edits, new pages, photo swaps, contact details, promotions. A completely new site or a second business is a new subscription.
Monthly updates
Blog posts published, ad reports and other deliverables are posted as Updates in the same thread view, so both you and the client can see what was done each month.
Support
Anything about the site itself goes through the Website Manager so the design team sees it. Billing questions and account issues go through your normal support ticket.
