Activating a Phone Number for a Client

Step-by-Step Activation

  1. Open the Add Client form in your reseller panel (Clients section).
  2. Enter the client details (name, email).
  3. Enable Business Phone Number in the services list. You will see a phone number search appear.
  4. Select a Country (US, Canada, UK, or Australia).
  5. Choose Local or Toll-Free:
    • Local — a number with an area code from a specific city
    • Toll-Free — 800, 833, 844, 855, 866, 877, 888 (free for callers to dial)
  6. Search by Area Code (for local) — Enter a 3-digit area code (e.g., 305 for Miami, 213 for LA).
  7. Pick a Number from the available list. Hit Select.
  8. Choose Billing Cycle — Monthly, Quarterly, Bi-Annual, or Annual.
  9. Submit Order — the number is provisioned within seconds. Your wholesale cost is deducted, your client gets a welcome email.

What the Client Receives

After activation, your client gets a branded welcome email containing:

  • Their new business phone number
  • Login link to the Phone Manager (on your storefront)
  • Setup instructions

Multiple Numbers Per Client

You can give a single client multiple phone numbers — each is a separate service with its own forwarding, voicemail, and call log. Useful for clients with multiple business locations or departments.
