eSIM Data Plans and Coverage

How Plans Work

  • Each eSIM package is a fixed amount of data, from 100 MB up to 100 GB, valid for a set number of days (1, 3, 7, 10, 15, 30, 60, 90, 180 or 365).
  • Packages cover single countries or regions, and the package name shows what's included.
  • There are no unlimited-data plans.

Codes in Package Names

  • USIP: the eSIM connects through a US IP address, handy for US apps abroad. It does not mean unlimited.
  • FUP (for example FUP1Mbps): a daily data allowance, after which speed is slowed to that rate for the rest of the day.

When the Plan Starts

The QR code is emailed right after purchase and can be installed days before the trip. The validity period starts when the eSIM first connects to a network at the destination.
