Collecting Reviews and the Review Funnel
The review funnel — the headline feature
When a customer is asked for a review (email invite, shared link, or QR), they land on a hosted, white-label funnel page and pick a star rating:
- At or above the location's threshold — they're sent to leave a public review. If multiple review profiles are connected they choose Google / Yelp / Trustpilot; otherwise they go straight to the one.
- Below the threshold — they see a private feedback form that goes only to the owner, never public. The owner is emailed immediately. Anonymous visitors can optionally leave contact details for follow-up.
The first rating is final (re-clicking can't change it). The page carries the location's logo, brand color, and customizable headline/subtext.
Sending review requests
- Click Collect Reviews in the sidebar.
- Enter the customer's name and email and click Send email invite. The email contains clickable stars — one tap routes the customer into the funnel.
- If the customer hasn't rated after 3 days, one polite reminder is sent automatically.
Bulk send (CSV)
- Paste or upload a CSV of
name, emailrows. - Invites send in batches with a progress count and a result summary: sent, already invited, unsubscribed, over cap, invalid, failed.
Link, QR, and website embed
Every location has a permanent funnel link and downloadable QR code (also on the Dashboard). Customize page sets the funnel theme, headline, and subtext. An embed iframe snippet puts the same collector directly on the client's website.
Guardrails (automatic)
- Daily send cap of 200 invites
- The same customer is never re-invited within 14 days
- Unsubscribes are honored automatically (CAN-SPAM compliant emails with unsubscribe + physical address)
Reseller notes
The funnel report at the top of Collect Reviews (Sent → Opened → Rated → Public reviews → Negatives intercepted) is the number to show clients — "N negatives intercepted" is the value story. Review requests are email-only today; SMS is built but not yet enabled.
