Getting Started with Digital Gift Cards

What It Is

Digital Gift Cards lets any business client of yours sell digital gift cards for their own business. They get a branded purchase page on your storefront domain at /gc/their-business, customers pay by card, the recipient receives a 16-character code by email within seconds, and the business redeems it from a simple dashboard at /giftcards.

How Money Flows

Each business connects its own Stripe account from the Digital Gift Cards settings. Every sale is deposited to that account directly; the platform never holds the money. A 3% platform fee plus standard card processing is deducted from each payment automatically.

How You Earn

Half of the 3% platform fee on every card sold by every one of your clients is yours. It is held for 7 days, then transferred to your connected Stripe account, or added to your profit wallet and paid out by your preferred payout method (set under Affiliates) if you have no Stripe connected. There is no wholesale cost: activation is free and nothing is charged to your wallet.

Who It Is For

Restaurants, salons, spas, gyms, boutiques, bakeries, tutors, photographers and any local business that already sells gift cards on paper or wants a reason for customers to prepay. It pairs well with your clients who already use invoicing, appointments or reputation management.
