Getting Started with Plugin & Theme White Label

Last updated Apr 25, 2026

Plugin & Theme White Label gives your clients access to a library of 1,500+ premium WordPress plugins and themes, packaged inside a fully branded WordPress plugin you generate for them. They install one plugin on their site — and from inside that plugin, they can install any of the 1,500+ items with one click. All under your brand.

Why this product is different

Most "plugin reseller" services just give clients a download link to use someone else's plugin. This product is different in two ways:

  1. The wrapper plugin is fully branded — your client's plugin shows up in their WordPress admin with the name, logo, author, and description you chose. They never see "ResellPortal" or "Buy Applications" branding.
  2. The 1,500+ items inside auto-update — the licensing engine pulls fresh versions automatically as long as the subscription is active. Clients always have the latest versions of major premium plugins.

Why it's legal — GPL licensing

All 1,500+ plugins and themes in the library are GPL-licensed — the WordPress license that explicitly allows redistribution. This isn't pirated software. Original developers retain their rights and can choose to provide their own support; you're providing the access and updates as a separate service.

Who buys this

  • Web design agencies — replaces buying individual plugin licenses for every client site (saves thousands per year)
  • WordPress freelancers — instant access to premium plugins like Elementor Pro, WPForms, Yoast Premium, etc., for any client
  • Hosting resellers — bundle with your hosting offer to differentiate from cheap shared hosts
  • SaaS-style operators — sell the branded plugin as a stand-alone product to a niche audience (e.g. "the ultimate plugin pack for restaurants")

Pricing model

Sold as a recurring subscription per single-site domain — the white-labeled plugin only works on one specific WordPress install. Wholesale rates:

CycleWholesaleEffective monthly
Monthly$10$10/mo
Quarterly$25$8.33/mo (save $5)
Bi-Annual$45$7.50/mo (save $15)
Annual$85$7.08/mo (save $35)

Most resellers charge $29–$49/month retail per site, or $299–$499 annually. Annual billing has the best margin and lowest churn — push it.

How activation works (overview)

There are two ways the white-labeled plugin can be generated:

  1. You generate it for a client from the marketplace inside your panel. You pick the branding details and the plugin is delivered to your client by email under your brand.
  2. The client buys it from your storefront. They pick their own plugin name, description, author, and logo during checkout. After payment, the system generates and emails the plugin to them — branded, with a copy emailed to you for records.

Both flows produce the same end result — a single ZIP file the client uploads to their WordPress site.
