Common Questions

How is this different from Linktree or Beacons?

Feature-wise equivalent — branded page, unlimited links, click analytics, themes, scheduled links, social icons. Advantages: fully white-labeled on your storefront, all features at one flat price (no "pro" gates), short URL on biolnk.net, you own the client billing relationship.

Can I use a custom domain?

Pages live on biolnk.net for the short-URL benefit. Custom domain support may come later if demand is there.

How many links can a client add?

Unlimited. No artificial caps.

What link types are supported?

Standard URLs (https://), email (mailto:), phone (tel:), and SMS (sms:). Action links open the user's native app on mobile.

How accurate are the analytics?

Very. The system filters out curl, wget, headless browsers, social media unfurlers (Facebook/Twitter preview crawlers), and known SEO bots. 30-second per-IP dedup prevents refresh-spam from inflating views.

Can a link be scheduled?

Yes — set optional start and end timestamps per link. Link auto-appears at start, auto-disappears at end. Great for product launches and limited-time promos.

What happens when a client cancels?

The bio page status flips to suspended (visitors see an inactive notice). The slug is held for 30 days in case they reactivate. After 30 days the slug is released back to the pool.

Is there a setup fee?

No. Just the monthly/quarterly/biannual/annual subscription you set on your storefront.

Can clients reorder links?

Yes — drag-and-drop in the Links Manager. The order on the public page matches the dashboard order.

What if their chosen slug is taken?

Slugs are globally unique on biolnk.net (first-come-first-served). The dashboard checks availability live as they type. If taken, they pick another or add a number/word.

Does the welcome email use my branding?

Yes. The welcome email uses your portal name, logo, and primary color from your branding settings.
