How App Integrations Work
What Integrations Are
Your clients' apps share information with each other automatically. When the same client owns two apps that work together, for example Invoicing and CRM, the connection switches on by itself: everyone they invoice shows up in their CRM, with every invoice on that contact's timeline. There is nothing for you or your client to set up. No API keys, no Zapier, no settings to copy.
Each connection has its own on/off switch, so a client can turn off anything they don't want.
Where Your Clients Find It
Every app has an Integrations button in the bar across the top of the screen, and so do your storefront pages when the client is signed in:
- On a computer: an Integrations button right next to My Apps.
- On a phone: a plug icon in a circle, right next to the account circle.
It opens the Integrations window:
- The app they are in: its connections come first, each with an on/off switch.
- Your other apps: connections between their other apps.
- Add an app to do more: connections that need one more app. Each has a Get app button that opens that product on your store.
- More ways your apps can work together: a collapsed list of connections between apps they don't own yet.
- Recent activity: what the connections did lately, for example "Added Jane Smith to CRM" or "Sent a review request to Jane Smith".
What You Need to Do
Nothing. Integrations work for every client automatically, with your branding and your product names. The Get app buttons only show products you sell, and they send the client to your own store, so integrations quietly sell more of your products.
Clients With More Than One Business
SEO Autopilot, AI Visibility Autopilot and AI Content Engine can be added once per business, so one client can have several. The other apps are one per client. The on/off switches are per client and cover all of their businesses. When a client has more than one business, each connection only uses the matching business, found by its website or Google listing:
- SEO Autopilot and AI Visibility Autopilot share a business profile only for the same website or listing.
- AI Receptionist learns answer pages and suggests questions only for the business on the receptionist's website.
- Star ratings and review posts come from the Reputation Management location with the same website.
- AI Content Engine only shares blog posts and answer pages from the same website.
A client with one business needs nothing to match. Everything connects to it.
Outside Tools
Integrations connect a client's apps on your platform to each other. Two apps also reach outside tools on their own:
- AI Receptionist: its webhook (under Alerts & Integrations) sends every lead, booking, cancellation and handoff to Zapier, Make, GoHighLevel or any tool that accepts webhooks.
- Appointment Booking: Google Calendar sync in its Settings.
There are no other outside connections, such as QuickBooks, Google Sheets, Mailchimp or HubSpot.
