Orders, Tracking & Commission

Last updated Jul 27, 2026

After a Sale

  1. You're notified instantly: a sale email with the customer, sale price, and your commission — and a card appears on your Services page for the order.
  2. We fulfill: the order moves through Preparing Shipment → Shipped → Delivered. When it ships, the tracking number is added to your Services card and your customer receives a branded shipping email with a tracking link.
  3. Your customer can track it too: their storefront account (profile → Orders) shows the order status and tracking number.

When You Get Paid

Your commission releases 30 days after delivery — the standard hardware return window. When it matures, the money is transferred automatically to your connected Stripe account and lands in your bank on your normal Stripe payout schedule. You'll get a "Commission paid" email, and the Services card flips to Commission Paid.

Why the 30-day hold? If a customer returns or refunds the box inside the window, the pending commission simply never releases — no clawbacks, no negative balances, no surprises. It's the same model Amazon uses for marketplace sellers.

Refunds & Returns

Returns and refunds are handled by our fulfillment team — the customer is refunded in full to their original payment method and emailed a confirmation. If a refund happens before your commission released, the pending commission is cancelled. In the rare case a chargeback lands after your commission was paid, the commission is reversed from your Stripe balance.

Statuses on Your Services Page

  • Preparing Shipment — paid, being packed
  • Shipped — in transit, tracking shown on the card
  • Delivered — arrived; 30-day commission hold running
  • Commission Paid — your money has been transferred
  • Refunded — order refunded; no commission
